La Masía de El Villar is a rural country estate located in the town of San Feliu de Codinas, 40 km outside of Barcelona. This historic home dates back to the 11th century and has a beautiful chapel on the property, visible from the gardens, that dates back to the 12th century.
The main house, the pool, the gardens, the lookout tower, and other facilities are for the exclusive use of tenants. Tenants can enjoy long walks in the plentiful fields and forests of this property, secluded in a natural environment where there is only one neighbor.
Toward the rear of the main residence is an outdoor patio to enjoy a relaxing meal or a coffee. The tower frames one side of the terrace, with fantastic views of Sant Feliu, the Cingles de Bertí, Riells, Bigues, Puiggraciós and the Montseny toward the other.
A highlight of the property is a garden that dates to 1883. It is an ideal spot to gather for a meal with friends and family under a century-old basswood tree. Near to the garden is the pool, ideal for the warm summer months. It has an attached changing room complete with showers and restrooms.
The pool, 17 meters at the entrance to the house, allows you to enjoy leisure time in summer. It has an attached toilet and changing room.
The estate is surrounded by forests and fields, crossed by paths that allow a wide variety of walks.

Comming from Barcelona at the entrance of Sant Feliu de Codines village you will see a round about, take the first exit direction Bigues i Riells road BP-1432 and after 5 hairpin turns and 800 mts you will see two dirt roads at right and left of the main road. The sign Masia El Villar is on the left so carefully take this left dirt road and 200 mts down you will see the main entrance and the pool next to it. This is the Masia El Villar.
