First flight of the drone, used remote control to run a manual flight and an auto flight of the last written code.
Testing new autonomous flight path written by Lucia. It tested a small grid path, ensuring that autonomous grid surveys could be completed. Black Pearl was not working.
First, we did a grid search of the practice field to find targets, drone was low on battery and crashed, the damage was still manageable. Next flight we attempted to drop the ping pong balls on the target with our working servo, but they flew out to the top of the dropping mechanism during the windy flight, so we manually landed the drone on the target.
Second flight, testing Black Pearl Monitor and Camera connection to view flight from Drone. This was a manually flown flight.
Autonomous flight testing a grid path. Camera was replaced and the Black Pearl monitor now works again.
The last test flight, battery was low again and soon after take off the drone crashed, the landing gear was not reparable.
