Brazil is today the largest producer of sugar cane in the world, in addition to being the first in the production of ethanol and sugar, being responsible for 48% of world exports of this commodity. The term ICUMSA is an acronym called the International Commission for Uniform Methods of Sugar Analysis, or International Commission for Uniform Methods of Sugar Analysis in free translation.

ICUMSA 45 sugar is the highest quality sugar available on the market today. It is a highly refined white sugar suitable for human consumption and for use in a wide range of food applications. It is perpetually in high demand as it is the safest form of sugar, due to the fact that the refining process by which it is created removes bacteria and contaminants often present in raw sugars.

ICUMSA 45 RBU Extra Fine Granulated Sugar is obtained by crystallization of refined sugar solution. Its greatest characteristic is a fine sugar that is whiter than crystal sugar. High purity sugar without dyes, well defined crystals and exceptional whiteness, originating from crystallized sugar. The sugar is a natural sweetener from sucrose (C12H22O11) with 99.8% purity, shown as a solid made up of small crystals. Obtained from sugar cane by extraction of sugar cane juice, the addition of chemical products to the sugar will define what type will be produced and the refining and crystallization treatment.

WHITE SUGAR

The product Icumsa IC 45 sugar. It is obtained from the process of extraction and crystallization of the sweetened juice of plant species such as sugar cane (SACCHARUM SP).

SUGAR PURITY

The Icumsa IC 45 sugar product is made up of fine sucrose crystals - loose, in a minimum concentration of 99.88 % polarization.

FEATURES.

This type of sugar is obtained through a process similar to that used to produce raw sugar (mascovado), applying variants in the clarification and centrifugation stages, in order to achieve the desired product quality.
