The role of the PTA President is to lead the organization and represents the voice of the parents within the school community which includes: Overseeing PTA meetings, setting agendas, and facilitating discussions. They guide the group's activities and ensure they align with the organization's mission. The also act as a bridge between parents, teachers, and the school administration and communicate concerns, ideas, and updates between these groups.

The Vice President is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the programs, events, and activities that the PTA organizes throughout the year. Key responsibilities include: Developing and planning educational or fundraising programs and events that benefit the school community. Working with other volunteers and PTA members to execute events, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Collaborating with other PTA officers, school staff, and external organizations to bring programs to life. They are responsible for overseeing the recruitment and retention of PTA members. Assisting with the budget for programs, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively. In essence, they help create a diverse range of engaging activities and ensures they are successfully implemented for the benefit of the school.

The role of the PTA secretary is to keeping the non-profit PTA organized and ensuring smooth communication. Responsibilities include: taking minutes at PTA meetings, recording key discussions, decisions, and actions, and distributing them to members afterward. Maintaining accurate records of the PTA’s activities, including membership lists, meeting agendas, and other important documents.

The PTA Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial aspects of the organization. Key duties include: Creating and overseeing the PTA’s budget, ensuring funds are allocated properly to support programs and activities. Keeping track of all income (e.g., fundraising) and expenses, and maintaining accurate financial records. Providing regular financial reports to the PTA board and members, ensuring transparency in the organization’s financial status. Managing payments for PTA expenses and processing reimbursements as needed. Ensuring the PTA complies with any financial regulations or tax filings required for nonprofit organizations. In essence, the treasurer ensures that the PTA remains financially healthy, accountable, and transparent.
