The Electrical Team is responsible for everything related to electronics and power in the ZIMA project. This includes selecting components, sourcing them, integrating them into our systems, and ensuring everything works together reliably. Whether it’s sensors, connectors, motor controllers, or microcontrollers — we make sure all components communicate and operate as intended.

• Designing and simulating circuits using tools like KiCad

• Assisting with electrical layouts in CAD models for system integration

• Power distribution and voltage regulation

• Sensor and actuator interfacing

• Troubleshooting and testing hardware systems

• Hands-on assembly — soldering, wiring, and physically integrating components into the ROV

• Have some experience or interest in electronics (even through hobby projects or coursework)

• Are curious, proactive, and excited to learn

• Can bring fresh insights, ask great questions, and enjoy problem-solving

• Are ready to work hands-on, make mistakes, and grow alongside the team
