Is it safe to send an authorisation code in a public discord chat?

As long as you format your message in the correct way, or utilise slash commands, the bot will "eat" your authorisation token. Due to the nature of these tokens, they instantly become invalidated once used. If the code is invalid, it cannot be used by anyone.

Can you make the bot autoclaim dailies?

While it is still possible to create a program that can save login info and automatically claim daily rewards, these applications must be kept private, otherwise they risk takedowns by Epic. It is in Epic Games' best interest to control what applications have access to their users account login information, as even if an app or service promises to not abuse this info, it could still be abused. Additionally, due to the bot being hosted on Heroku, it is impossible to store info without hosting this info on another service. However - if you want to autoclaim, there is still hope! If you would like to autoclaim yourself, there are a few options you can choose from: 1. Create a macro/script that performs all the actions you would need to perform (visit link, copy code, send to bot) automatically. This option requires your computer to be on, and not being actively used. 2. Write your own daily claiming script that uses other code as a basis to claim the daily, and use a Device Auth generator to save the required codes for logging in. This option requires previous knowledge on programming and making POST requests to endpoints.

Autoclaim is being worked on (will use MongoDB Atlas for storage), we will ramp up development on this feature around November 2022; however we cannot make any guarantees to the availability of this feature, as it is a grey area for TOS.

Does the bot work during downtime?

Under normal scheduled maintenance of Fortnite, the bot will continue to be able to collect daily rewards. This includes: scheduled/planned maintenance of Fortnite servers for updates, extended downtime (to be continued screen at the end of a season / black hole event). The bot may not work during unexpected downtime, as it still relies on core Epic Games APIs being online.

Why am I unable to claim V-Bucks from STW Daily?

On 29th July 2020 (Chapter 2 Season 3 v13.20) Founders Packs were taken off sale and replaced with STW packs (the ones that come with heros/skins). If you bought the latter, you will not receive V-bucks, instead any V-Bucks you earn will be X-Ray tickets (including from dailies, daily quests, mission alert rewards, mission rewards, tutorial etc.)

On 20th March 2022 (Chapter 3 Season 2 v20.00), Founders will instead receive both V-Bucks and X-Ray Tickets. However Llamas can no longer be purchased using V-Bucks, instead they may only be bought with X-Ray Tickets.

Why does the bot not respond to "stw d" anymore?

The authorisation code supplied to the bot is invalid.

Usually this is because the authorisation code has expired or become invalid. You can fix this by refreshing the page to get a new code. If you have been signed out of Epic Games on your browser, when you refresh the page your code will be blank. You will need to revisit this page to sign in and be automatically redirected to get a new code.

The authorisation code supplied to the bot was obtained from a link which does not use the "FortnitePCClient" Client ID (not a link the bot provided). To fix this error, use an appropriate link depending on whether you are signed in or not signed in.
