• October 19, 2025 Maker Faire Coney Island + Project 250 V2 test flight 

>Pusher propeller causes instability

>Wind was way too strong and overpowered the light aircraft

>Battery eventually depleted and couldn't provide enough amperage for full throttle

• September 2, 2025 - Flew prototype from NYU ieSoSC at Calvert Vaux Park

>Only had one 8-inch propeller

>Aircraft did not have an airfoil

>Battery and wires were exposed, creating drag

>Plane was not actively stabilized, making it hard to control

>Crashes were mostly due to pilot error

>Forgot to put on propeller o-ring for one test, leading to decreased performance

• August 10, 2025 - Flew Project UVAV at Corona Park

>Battery was practically dead before flight

>Motor rotation direction was reversed (didn't check)

>CG was a little too far forward

>Propeller detached from plane during 1st test due to loose screw

>Bending and warping caused plane to roll into the ground on the 2nd test

>Lessons learned: don't curve the fuselage bottom, prioritize structural rigidity, do ample pre-flight checks, connect battery using velcro so it can be adjusted on the fly

• June 28, 2025 - Attended Unofficial FlySRW Meetup at Calvert Vaux

>Flew small RC plane, crashed due to balance problems, pilot error and oversensitive controls

>Flew Aquila16 micro FPV drone graciously donated by Rufus from SRW
