Prof. Dr. Vesna A. Wallace, University of California, Santa Barbara 

Vesna A. Wallace is a professor of South Asian and Inner Asian Buddhist Traditions in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has published 6 books and over 90 academic articles and book chapters. She is also the Executive Director of Mongolia Foundation, U.S.A.

Prof. Dr. Burnee.D, Department of Mongolian Language and Linguistics, SAS, NUM

A Brief Biography of Professor Dorjsuren Burnee Professor Burnee taught in the Mongolian Language and Literature Department of the Faculty of Linguistics of the National University of Mongolia since 1981. In 1995, she earned her Ph.D. in linguistics with a dissertation titled "Comparing the Mongolian Translations of "Ulgeriin Dalai” from the Linguistic Perspective". From 2000 to 2008, she served as the head of the Department of Altai Text Studies. She was appointed as a professor in 2000, and from 2019 to 2023, she retired as a consulting professor at the Department of Mongolian Language and Linguistics. She has written and published 16 books, 80 academic articles, and 9 translations, independently and in collaboration with others. Her primary research interests lie in translation study and lexicology.

Prof.Dr. Manaljav.L, Department of Asian Languages and Literature, Department of Foreign Language, University of Humanities

Mrs. Manaljav Luvsanvandan graduated from the Faculty of Chinese Philology of the Beijing University in 1961. She received her Ph.D. degree at the Mongolian Academy of Sciences in 1973, was awarded with a title of Associate Professor in 1993 and a title of Professor in 2003.She was Chair of the Department of Asian Languages and Literature and also Chair of Foreign Language Department of the University of Humanities. She also worked as Visiting Professor and Visiting Researcher at the Beijing University, Berlin Free University, State Library and Chenchi University of Taiwan (ROC). She visited Sydney University (Australia) and Utah Valley State University (USA) for exchange to study the education system. Professor L. Manaljav field of interests include modern language theories, comparative linguistics, language teaching and learning methodologies and Chinese philology. Her collection of research papers was published in two volumes in 2017 and 2018 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Associate Professor. Dr. Zsuzsa Majer, Dharma Gate Buddhist College, Budapest

Zsuzsa Majer has a PhD in Mongolian linguistics and philology from ELTE University, Faculty of Arts, Budapest, Hungary (2009, A Comparative Study of the Ceremonial Practice in Present-day Mongolian Monasteries), and degrees as Tibetologist (2003), Mongolist (2002), and Teacher of English (2004). She has been to Mongolia many times since 1999 on scholarships and research trips for periods between two months – one and a half year, where, she surveyed the history and revival of Mongolian Buddhism, its monasteries and monastic system, the present-day ceremonial and ritual practice and the ceremonial system in the old monasteries, the terminology concerning the offerings, accessories and equipment of monasteries, and the history of the old Mongolian monasteries ruined in the 1937 purges. She conducted many interviews between 2006 and 2009 with old Mongolian monks on their original monasteries, collecting oral history together with Krisztina Teleki, and also in the framework of the Documentation of Mongolian Monasteries project of Arts Council of Mongolia in 2006 and 2007 (www.mongoliantemples.org). She surveyed and documented old and revived monastic sites outside of this project, too, during her various stays in Mongolia, including a detailed survey in 2009 with Krisztina Teleki about Zaya gegeen's monastery and the smaller monastic sites once subordinated to it. Later her main focus became the rituals and ritual texts. Between 2015-2018 she worked as a Research Fellow at the Department of Mongolian and Inner Asian Studies, Institute of East Asian Studies, ELTE Univeristy, Budapest, Hungary. Supported by the Hungarian Scientific Research Fund (OTKA PD 116108) she focused on the Tibetan language Texts of After-Death rites and rites for the protection of the bereaved in the practice of revived Mongolian Buddhism. Since August 2021 she works as Associate Professor at the Dharma Gate Buddhist College, Budapest where she teaches Written Tibetan language on BA and MA levels at the Tibetan Language Specialization and gives lectures and seminars on the Texts of Tibetan Buddhism, Rituals of Tibetan Buddhism, and Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy. Her newest research supported by the Hungarian Scientific Research Fund (OTKA K 147237) is a comparative study of the daily chanting textbooks and their texts in the present-day practice of the monasteries of different Tibetan Buddhist schools, including Mongolian Buddhist monasteries. Associate Prof. Dr. Demchigmaa.O, Department of Mongolian Language and Linguistics, SAS, NUM

Associate Professor, PhD in Philology, Department of Mongolian Language and Linguistics, School of Art and Sciences, National University of Mongolia In 2000, she graduated from the School of Mongolian Language and Culture of the National University of Mongolia as a Textologist, Tibetologist and in 2002, she received a master's degree in Textolology, and in 2013, she received a doctorate in Philology on the thesis "Lexical study of Subashita's Mongolian translations”. From 2001 until now, in addition to working at the NUM, he has worked as a Mongolian language lecturer at Buriyad University in Russia, Chifeng Institute in China, as a researcher at Dankook University in Korea and had taught traditional medicine tibetan at graduate school of DKU, and worked as a visiting professor, taught translation of sources in Tibetan to master’s and doctoral students of Minzu University, Pekin. She conducts research in the fields Tibetan literature, source studies, textology, translation studies, and lexicography. She is teaching Mongolian script, modern Mongolian to foreigner, historical grammar of Mongolian, classical Mongolian written language, Tibetan written, Tibetan cursive script, Tibetan grammar, Traditional medicine source studies, astrological source studies, Tibetan literature source studies, Tibetan written translation practice and classical translation studies of Tibetan written.

Mu Shihua, male, graduated from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences with a doctoral degree. He is a research fellow at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and a professor at the University of Social Sciences of China. He is also the head of the Naxi Dongba Literature Department of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, a special discipline. Mainly dedicated to the study of Naxi Dongba Writing and Naxi Dongba Manuscript, Tibetan Buddhist cultural history, Yunnan Mongolian language studies, and the historical and cultural relationship between Naxi and Tibetan. currently employed as a part-time expert at the Research Institute of the National Museum of China, a member of the Expert Committee of the World Language Museum at Beijing Foreign Studies University, and an expert group expert in applying for the "World Memory Heritage List" at the Dege Scripture Printing Institute in Garze Prefecture, Sichuan

He co-authored 5 books on folk rites of nomadic people, religious arts, and culture, the biographies of Buddhist masters, and religious manuscripts written by Mongolian thinkers.
