Thanks for welcoming us for our masterclasses!
We use to speak in cinema theater rooms, plugging our laptop (Mac Book Pro running Protools Software) to the video+sound diffusion system. In other room types (classroom, meeting room) try to approach a cinema room as close as possible;
Feel free to phone us to find solutions to any technical hazard.
We've experienced wireless connections with the cinema projector, but the synch is never that good than a HDMi link though the walls.
Stereo Sound will get out our Macbook by a female mini-jack 3.5 (classical), please prepare a stereo direct injection box, we need clear sound!
Most of the time, Olivier (speaker) is on stage, close to the cinema screen. His teammate (sound engineer) is driving the protools in a corner in the same room. If not possible, he can be set in the control room, but with a clear audio feedback from stage.
If the room is big , with such a big audience (more than 50 seats), let's prepare a couple of wireless headset microphones (DPA are welcome).
For the computer: a standing table (high table) with a bar stool, an electrical power strip, a little light if the room is dark, some adhesive black tape.
A soft light design should light the speaker, but not the screen of course!
We'll need a locked room to secure our stuffs before, during and after the conference. A close parking place will be fine if we travel by car.
We need one hour to plug and test the all thing.
