The stairs at HAVET are located in the middle of 6 floating spa units. Our design is based on a modular system taking inspiration from Havet’s sister company SALT’s iconic silhouette turned upside down. This modular construction can be used as a stand-alone ladder, with access from both sides, or put together in sets of 5 to create a sitting-area. The two different yet similar designs give you the choice of either going into the pool for a quick dip using the standalone stairs or resting on benches in the sitting-area.

4x4 constructional timber coated with tar, makes up the body of our construction. The tar is used as a method of preservation, to prevent erosion from the salt water. The joints are hand-crafted lap joints with recessed bolts to hold them in place. The use of sturdy materials reinforces the goal of long lasting design that will withstand the test of time.
