This project is a journey through the many forms of literature we’ve explored throughout the semester. Each page of this site represents a different type of literary work. This showcase is not only a reflection of what I’ve learned, but also a deeper dive into how literature helps us understand the world, ourselves, and each other.

Hello! My name is Maleah. This is my second semester at Cuyamaca. In my free time I enjoy listening to music and/or playing games. I also really enjoy watching horror movies and k-dramas. My main goal for the future is to get my bachelors degree in biology. I would then like to become a forensic scientist.
Literature has always been a space where I can explore different perspectives, emotions, and cultures. I’m especially drawn to stories and texts that explore identity and human connection.
With this showcase, I want to show how literature can be both deeply personal and universally meaningful. Many of the works I chose reflect parts of who I am or what I care about, or topics I'm interested in. I hope this site gives a glimpse into the kinds of stories and voices that move me and inspire me to think more deeply.

My WordPress blog is a personal space where I reflect on different pieces of literature that I am interested in or that relate to me. Each journal entry is an opportunity to engage with literature in a more personal, informal way. This blog connects directly to our English course by allowing me to practice examining the deeper meanings behind pieces of literature and exploring a variety of themes through different forms of literature. It also gives me the freedom to express my thoughts and emotions to the literature that matters most to me.
