This includes teaching our students the importance of recycling, how to recycle at home, and if possible, incorporating a school-wide recycling program as a positive way to impact the environment.

Creating an Eco Committee allows the school and the community to collaborate to come up with their own solutions to local environmental and sustainable issues.

Engaging students in a productive struggle--and allowing them to learn on their own with their teacher as a facilitator--allows students to become invested in their own learning and therefore, make their learning more personal.
