As much as SHO is about giving back to the community, it is also about developing its members' skills and knowledge. We understand that a career in the health sciences whether it be medical, public, or pharmaceutical requires more than just what you learn in the classroom. SHO is here to help with that. SHO Interns get the opportunity to work closely with its board members and learn about how the organization runs. Along with attending general meetings, interns will have the opportunity to attend board meetings, help schedule events, learn about member retention and publicity, and even run their own meeting.
