Meet the '20-'21

SHO Board!

President: Ivana Xu

Hello! My name is Ivana Xu, and I am a fourth year Biological Sciences major. I am excited to be serving as SHO’s president for this 2021-2022 academic school year! I have been a part of this organization since my second year, and am thankful for the opportunities I have had to educate students on the importance of public health through our workshops, as well as the opportunities to serve the underserved communities in our area! These opportunities have shaped and grown me in ways where I am able to educate students more effectively. It has been amazing to be a part of a community of like-minded individuals who share the desire to serve our community well through increasing public health awareness! My hope for those a part of this organization is that we would constantly strive to learn and grow both as individuals and as a community so that we can be better equipped to serve those around us. My hope for our workshops is that we would continue to cultivate a warm environment where the students are actively engaged in learning.
