The Student Senate is an advisory board to the SGA Executive Board charged with reviewing requests, suggestions, complaints, etc. in regards to anything involving the campus community and its resources. Recommendations are made to the SGA Executive Board for review and reporting to the campus President. Members also review proposed changes to the District SGA Constitution and campus by-laws; they may or may not choose to take amendments to a vote on the Senate floor. These Senators may jointly devise or assist with programs/activities to improve the quality of student life on campus by involving students in Student Activities, Academia, and initiatives directly from the Office of the TCC campus President. Senators encourage student involvement by making the campus community a better place in which to attend and be active. Student Senators meet monthly for a total of six (6) Student Senate meetings during the academic year in the Student Center Building.
