We Rise by Lifting Others

Live Nobly Social Network

Live Nobly Social Network

Live Nobly Social Network is established on cultivating empathy, compassion, kindness, and caring within ourselves and supporting them in each other. We believe in mutual aid, altruism, and progress.

It is an anti-bullying and anti-violent community. By creating a culture of kindness and caring, we will prevent bullying and violence. We will help each other develop tools to achieve our goals peacefully. We will help each other develop emotional fortitude and resilience, confidence, and critical thinking.

Akashic Mission News

AM News was created to foster a more objective, global perspective on news events from local news to international news.  Initially seeded with content via Upwork.com, we will eventually feature pieces from local students.

Marsha P. Johnson Alliance

The Marsha P. Johnson Alliance is a member-created, member-led, and member managed club for LGBTQIA+ young adults to support each other.

The Infosec Club

Akashic Mission is supporting students in creating an Information Security Club that will be known as The Infosec Club.  The club is comprised of students from multiple schools who want to collaborate with other students, instructors, college students, professors, and industry experts to learn about information security and technology.  The club aligns with Science, Technology, Reading/Literacy, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics  education aspects of Akashic Mission by students using science and mathematics to explore technology; building literacy skills reading and composing technical documents along with other research; learning about Engineering through technology design; and applying the Arts to create graphic designs as well as other artistic representations such as public presence in marketing or public speaking.  The club will help students learn about how to use technology to protect their data, as well as protect information of loved ones, employers, and customers.

New PostSecondary Students

We work to assist new post-secondary students with items and expenses that might not be covered by their financial aid packages.  A friendly face for a ride to the store, a warm home-cooked meal away from home, pitching in to help with laundry, or helping out with a new outfit that didn't quite make it into the budget are a few things new students appreciate.

Creating Rewarding Jobs in West Virginia

Rewarding jobs are meaningful, challenging, and help employees find identity and significance through serving and helping others.  They provide opportunities for workers to learn and grow, focusing on self-improvement that also helps the company grow.  A top-priority project of Akashic STREAM Mission, Ltd. is to create the kind of jobs we would like to have, to keep human capital in West Virginia that will aid in stimulating West Virginia's economic opportunities.

Technology in Rural Communities

Akashic STREAM Mission, Ltd.  is working to increase access to technology in rural communities, investigating mobile hotspots as possible solutions to lagging infrastructure and developing inexpensive technological solutions such as Raspberry Pi laptops that can be used for job searches, building resumes, or even in remote employment.  Other tech initiatives include classroom kits pre-loaded with CC0 educational materials that can be used by schools in global regions of conflict, instability, or resource scarcity.
