Scottish Government planning fiasco

Following the meeting one of our group wrote to Maree Todd to highlight the onshore renewables and transmission infrastructure fiasco resulting from Scottish Government's National Planning Framework 4. 

We're giving away billions of public money to a monopoly with little oversight.

A campaign targeting UK and Scottish Ministers, Ofgem and National Grid is our next focus.

Scottish Parliament Committee

Aileen McLeod, Director of Offshore Delivery at SSE Transmission, tells the Scottish Parliament: Net Zero, Energy & Transport Committee, "It is not the intention here to put up new lines on greenfield sites". 

So the proposed pylons magically disappear in the spring. Clever!
