Our church participates each year with Mission Trip Birdsboro, working in conjunction with other area churches to assist with home repairs for our neighbors in need.

A team of 11 spent the week working on two homes while at Lutheran Camp Eduardo Roig in the municipality of Dorado, 15 miles west of San Juan, providing disaster relief in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. One team added a roof and railing to a home, and the other team powerwashed, sealed, and painted a different home’s roof.

In September of 2017, the team spent a week providing assistance to the Lakota. Particularly rewarding was the construction of dozens of bunkbeds for children who had never before slept in a bed.
