Ages 2 to grade 6

During the school year, Sunday School classes are

held on Sunday mornings from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m.

Confirmation Program

A 3-year program for youth in grades 7 through 9 to prepare for confirmation in 9th grade on Pentecost.

It Includes study of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible and Luther’s Small Catechism.

During the school year, Sunday School classes are

held on Sunday mornings from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m.

Vacation Bible School

Meets for a week in the summer for 5 evenings either in June or July

VBS Encourages leadership of teens and adults, participants age 3 (potty trained) through completed fifth grade

Seasonal Programs

Rally Day, Advent, ,Epiphany, Lent, Easter., Pentecost celebrated as a whole SCS event

Christmas program

Involves Sunday school children presenting a Christmas-themed story or skit

Walk through Holy Week

Experience the events of Holy week by visiting various centers: Palm Sunday, Last Supper,

Gethsemane, the Crucifixion, The Empty Tomb—during a Sunday school hour

Adult Bible Study on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays

Joy Gerhart leads a study of the first Bible lesson of the upcoming

Sunday, usually the Old Testament, via zoom on Mondays at 10:00 a.m.

             Pastor Frey leads a Bible Study on Wednesdays in person

and on zoom on various biblical books on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

             Pastor Frey leads a study of the gospel lesson for the

upcoming Sunday on zoom at 10:00 a.m. on Fridays.

4th Monday evening Bible Study

Pastor Frey leads studies on various topics at 6:30 p.m. This gathering is

preceded by a simple meal at 6:00 p.m. with donations of food buy the participants.

Sunday Morning Adult Study

Pastor Frey leads an adult study at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays* from September to December on various topics.

Joy Gerhart leads an adult study at 9:15 a.m. from January to May on various topics
