"Denise Evergreen intrigued me the most because she was and wasn't at the same time. Her eyes, light green, but still somehow the darkest I'd ever seen. Her hair, cut jaggedly with kitchen scissors, but so purposefully it was almost artful. She was and wasn't. She is and isn't."
"I am not meant to have a story, I am not meant to play a role, I am no character. I’ve been called to tell their story, and I can’t keep doing it from a distance. After all, I am the author."
"He writes for her and in spite of her. Does he feel the words he contorts together in a conveniently rhythmic string of words, or does he simply mimic the sounds on the radio that used to bring him to life? Over time, people can become pieces of each other and fragments of themselves. Maybe it's better that way for people like Grayson."
“She binds them together, as much as one woman can. Nothing in her life is done without a ferocity fueled by pure love. Still, somehow the one love she truly needs eludes her again and again, whisping away like a year in your twenties. She runs to protect it like nothing else could be more important, because if not this, then what else?”
“She held a name that reeked of tragedy and great importance. A god fearing, beautiful, french speaking blonde with more than a few freckles dancing across her porcelain cheeks. Kind hearted, yet fated to be trapped within her self constructed prison walls- hiding, hoping; waiting for an answer that could explain the inexplicable. Within the clique, she burrows her curly head, bolding onto the same hope that a found family can last forever, unchanging as the tides turn. Often, the worst things a person can say are to themselves.”
“In my eyes, she’s the anti-evergreen; presenting charm, grace and kindness. It doesn’t even take someone like me to see that she’s different. Perhaps it’s how long it takes her smile to fade after she’s laughed at a joke-Or maybe it’s the way her body leans forward in such a flamboyantly exaggerated manner as she listens to someone speak. There’s something inhuman about her incessant kindness- it’s almost unfathomable that someone could be like this all the time. I’m sure if I looked deep enough, her life could make up an entire novel all by herself.”
This story does contain choices, which you will only be able to make for one character: Liam Fueller. These choices will not affect the overall story, but may change some moments/extend scenes.
No, you will not get to customize any of the characters in this story. You are not playing as yourself, you are watching the stories of these 6 characters play out as they were originally intended to look.
There is a general disclaimer at the beginning of every episode, but if an episode has especially sensitive content, we will put the option to read a trigger warning.
You will not have the option to change the gender of any character. Since you are not playing as yourself, you cannot change the love interest based on your romantic preferences. However, there may be LGBT plot lines throughout the story… that is all I will say. Keep reading to find out.
Will there be a season two?
Yes, the clique will have a season two. It will be a separate story, but still considered a continuation of this story if all goes according to plan. Season two will be separated from this one because the characters, intro and cover will need to be changed to fit the new season.
The concept of the story almost requires that each character is a MC. Plus, we love all these characters! Even though each character is meant to be seen with equal importance, Liam and Denise are the closest to being the MAIN main characters.
No, you will not be picking love interests for any of the characters.
No, Rebecca Lewis is an original character who is not based on a real person. Our writing alias is based on her name, but that's just because we like her.
