The purpose of this award is to enable the learner to develop the relevant knowledge, skills and competence to work effectively under supervision in the retail sector and to progress to education and training.

Learners will be able to:

Demonstrate a range of knowledge related to customer service, retail practice, basic concepts and legal obligations relating to retail practices including merchandising, stock control and sales.

5M2105 Retail Practice

The purpose of this award is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skills and competence to work independently and under supervision in a range of retail settings and to progress to further or higher education and training.

Learners will be able to:

Demonstrate a range of knowledge related to customer services and operational practices in the retail sector. Demonstrate knowledge of theoretical concepts and legal obligations pertinent to retail practices including merchandising, marketing, stock control and sales with significant depth in certain areas.
