The Saint Margaret of Castello Alliance for Catholic Inclusion was established in December 2021 to support the St. Jerome Academy Resource Program. We are a group of parents with expertise relevant to the field of special education. We serve the SJA Resource Program by continuously researching opportunities to make an SJA education more accessible for children with special needs.
Margaret, born in 1287, was hidden away and later abandoned by her noble parents due to her physical disabilities. The town's poor, and then later a local convent, cared for her and gave her safe haven. She started a school for children to teach them the faith and care for them. Through her suffering and infirmities, she came to have a deep and resilient faith. St. Margaret was canonized by Pope Francis on April 24, 2021.
St. Margaret, you saw God's goodness in all circumstances. Help us to accept the challenges we have been given in this life so we may share in Christ's life.
Pray for us!
