SLAP is a volunteer-led organization focused on documenting adults who target minors online, supporting law enforcement, amplifying survivor voices, and advocating for stronger protections for children.
St. Louis Against Predators (SLAP) is a grassroots, survivor-led unincorporated nonprofit association serving the St. Louis region and surrounding Missouri-Illinois communities.
We are not a government or law enforcement agency. Our members serve as witnesses, researchers, safety support, activists, and community advocates.
Adult volunteers document online contact initiated by adults targeting minors
We organize information and support law-enforcement-coordinated operations
We follow public case outcomes, including arrests, charges, convictions, and prosecutorial declinations
We help connect survivors with reporting options, resources, and opportunities to share their stories

SLAP frequently collaborates with Operation 17:2, an independent 501(c)3 organization, as well as similar organizations who assist with planning and supporting law-enforcement-coordinated sting operations.
