NEW Training Required!
EOC Training, which is required by the State. This training is mandatory for all catechists, ushers, youth ministry leaders, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, music ministry leaders, MCs, and any other leaders responsible for parishioners in a group setting.
For ministries that have youth volunteers between the ages of 14–18, leaders must ensure that those volunteers attend the training and become certified.
The available training dates are:
• Saturday, August 22, 2026
• Saturday, October 10, 2026
• Saturday, November 7, 2026
• Saturday, January 9, 2027
Each session will accommodate 35 individuals per class, with one English session and one Spanish session, for a total of 70 attendees per date.
Because this is a state requirement, all ministries must ensure that their members are in compliance. Ministers who are not compliant will not be able to serve. Some ministers may already have a current certification and therefore will not need to attend. Certification is valid for two years.
Please note that attendees must be present for the entire session in order to receive certification. Training runs from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with morning hospitality beginning at 8:00 AM. Lunch will be provided.
Please let me know which training date you are able to attend

Deepening Our Understanding of the Liturgy This Summer
There are some summer events in our diocese that could be a great opportunity for us as a ministry to grow together. These gatherings offer a chance to deepen our faith, strengthen our shared ministry, and grow in our understanding of the Church’s liturgical life.
One of these is the Mysterium Liturgy Series, a monthly evening of spiritual reflection and fellowship centered on the question: How does God draw us to himself in the liturgy?
Here are the upcoming sessions:

How is God revealed in our liturgical heritage?
The Beauty of the Liturgy, Joseph Greene
July 7 at 7:00 PM
How does liturgical beauty help us love God?
The Mystical Power of the Liturgy, Fr. Rafael Partida
August 4 at 7:00 PM
How does the liturgy help us share in God’s divinity?
