About STI-Gigaku/History
What is STI-Gigaku?
STI-Gigaku (The International Conference on "Science of Technology Innovation") is a series of SDGs-focused
international conferences mainly organized by Nagaoka University of Technology(NUT) students every year since
FY 2016. The participants are mostly NUT, KOSEN (National Institute of Technology/College of Technology) in Japan,
domestic and foreign universities, and companies.
This conference dedicated to bringing together all the above respective parties in order to achieve
Sustainable
Development Goals(SDGs)
by sharing their progress and achievements in education and related research
collaboration, and
has grown to become one of our most important international conferences as a role in providing
opportunities to facilitate the discussion of issues and solutions on global topics such as energy, climate change, and
poverty and hunger to bring about changes in the society, in addition to raising the awareness on SDGs nationwide
and worldwide.
