A practical and introductory class to painted boxes, with the aim that everyone will be able to prepare, paint and take home a box of their own. We will be using acrylic and gesso paints, and pencils to draw our designs. A spray sealant is available to finish your box, and will only be used outside away from the hall.
Feeding a crowd and not sure where to start? We'll look at what goes into building a cohesive menu, how to manage dietary requirements, and some common pitfalls to avoid. Cooks and food enthusiasts of all experience levels welcome!
A history of what is known as swearing, or bad language today, extending from the Romans up to the beginning of the seventeenth century.
NOTE: A warning: there will be some swearing used in this presentation.

Join Lady Sonia for a practical class on the medieval Italian art of flag throwing, as used in the Italian cities to present an event.
A journey into the planning, calligraphy and illumination of a scroll in the SCA. We will go through the what and how of producing scrolls such as Kingdom award scrolls, fealty scrolls, letters of intent and any other use you can think of for a scroll in the SCA.
