The Barony of St Florian de la Riviere
The Barony of St Florian de la Riviere
The Peaceful and Mercantile Barony of St Florian de la Riviere is one of two chapters of the SCA in Brisbane, extending south of the Brisbane River, all the way to the NSW border.
The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an international non-profit volunteer educational organisation that is devoted to the research and re-creation of pre-17th century skills, arts, combat, culture, and employing knowledge of history to enrich the lives of participants through events, demonstrations, and other educational presentations and activities.

Event Steward - Safiya bint 'Abd al-Shahid
Countess Safiya bint 'Abd al-Shahid is the current Arts & Sciences Officer for the Barony of St Florian de la Riviere.
Her areas of interest are "literally all the things", but especially cooking, costuming, and equestrian activities. She also enjoys having opinions on everything.
