After a 5-year break, I've resumed writing and publishing my novels.

This post marks the end of my self-imposed break from writing and publishing.
After I'd published Verdant Pioneers, I realized I needed a break from writing, publishing and promoting, as the attention they required were being eclipsed by matters of professional duties and personal health; I realized that I just didn't have the bandwidth to take care of my day job, my health and my books. So the books were taken offline, my old promotional site was mothballed and I put 100% of my effort into taking care of me for a while.
Cut to five years later, and I'd come to realize two things: One, that my work and health were both reaching healthier levels, leaving me free to think about other things; and Two, that I was starting to think about writing again. One of the things that inspired me was a grant contest that I entered, which asked me to record any works I'd had copywritten; and as I entered the works, I realized I had nineteen copyrights on file in the Library of Congress. Nineteen. And at that point, I knew it was an absolute moral imperative that I make that number an even twenty!
But even before that, I knew that I had to put (at least some of) my old novels back on the market; if, for no other reason, because the next book I was going to write would be a sequel to two of my earlier books. That meant I had to put the earlier books back in circulation; and if I was going to do that, I decided I should put some of the other books back up, because they weren't bad, either. Next thing I know, I've committed to half a dozen books, minimum, put back in circulation. Whew!
So I made plans to re-release some of my finished books, and get busy writing a new one. I also needed a website—this site—to promote them, as I had closed the last one; I started designing that first. I didn't rush either, as I was still working a day job; but I figured, the sooner I get started, the better.
Fast-forward to today, and here we are: A new site, the first re-released books, one in process, and more on the way. Hope you all enjoy what you find here... as the saying goes, I'm not doing this just to hear myself talk!
...right?
