STEPS JOINT SCALE – Assessment and Monitoring Tool

Developed within the Erasmus+ STEPS project (2024-1-RO01-KA220-SCH-000253164), the JOINT SCALE is a common assessment and observation tool designed to monitor the development of students with special educational needs (SEN).

Created collaboratively by partners from Romania, Poland, Türkiye and Greece, it assesses three key areas: functional, psychological and social development, using measurable indicators, scoring and qualitative observations.

The resource includes a user manual, assessment grids and observation sheets adapted to practical and vocational workshops implemented during project mobilities.

Its digital approach supports systematic monitoring, progress reporting, multidisciplinary cooperation and the development of Personalised Vocational Development Plans (PVDPs).

The JOINT SCALE promotes individualised education, autonomy, vocational skills development and inclusive practices, offering a transferable assessment framework for European schools.
