Stephen served as a Judge for the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition 2026.

Stephen discussed with the research team of Mr. Cai Lei (蔡磊) on the mechanistic investigation and therapeutic development of ALS. Mr. Cai Lei is the ex-vice president of Jingdong (京东), one of the country’s biggest e-commerce companies. Mr. Cai was diagnosed with ALS in 2019 but is devoting the rest of his life to supporting research and hopes to save one million patients.
