Purchasing items with a budget

You will need to purchase items to enable you to do your job. If you are the hairdresser, you will need:

• scissors

• combs and brushes

• hairdryer

• curling wand

• straighteners

• shampoo, conditioner and products

• towels

• any other necessary items

If you are the beautician, you will need different items. Make a list of what you would need.

You have a budget of £300 for all your items.

You could create a purchase list for a hairdresser and a separate purchase list for a beautician. Each would have £300 to spend, spend it wisely!

Criteria - your spreadsheet should include

• Use Apple Numbers, Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to create your spreadsheet

• You should have columns for item, link to website, cost, how many you will need and total cost. An example is shown below. Use the functions on the spreadsheet to add the cost for you.
