Creating price lists and leaflets

You will need promotional material to advertise your new business. You might need a poster for the information board in the town, flyers to post through letter boxes or price lists to show the services you offer.

Use Apple Pages, Microsoft Publisher or Canva to create your marketing items. Remember to keep the theme similar to the design of your salon. For example, if you have designed your salon with plants and natural materials, you should reflect that in your publicity materials so that your customers recognise your salon when they come to visit. The font you use is also important, use the same one for your business name and all promotional materials.

• Create a poster to advertise your new business with background and font that reflects your image, when you are open and what you will offer
