TUTORING

STEMulate offers individual, one-on-one tutoring for the math and science sections of the ACT. Sessions are an hour long and normally focus on one specific section at a time. If a student needs both math and science tutoring then a rotational schedule can be discussed. My statistics show that students show a greater increase in points if sessions are scheduled consistently over an extended period of time. The best results have come from students that meet with me at least once a week for a couple of months before their scheduled ACT. Though this is not a hard and fast rule and any tutoring is better than none.

One-on-one tutoring is also available for all K-12 math classes as well as some introductory college math courses.

One-on-one tutoring is offered both in-person for Birmingham residents and surrounding areas (at Kayla Coogan's home in Columbiana or local libraries) and virtually through Google Meet. Tutoring sessions are $50 an hour. Please sign up on the Scheduling Tab.
