I do not know what brought you to my blog today but by the end of it, I hope you are happy you stopped in. My name is Stella. I am the cutest four-legged friend anyone would want to have. I'm sweet, happy, and LOVE treats.

Today is the day before I leave for my across the world travel without my best friend, sidekick, and fun owner, Gracie. I was hoping she could come with, but she is still in school and I am ready to see the world.

So, you’re probably wondering, what are you doing writing a blog?

Here’s a quick backstory before I tell you why.

This past summer, Gracie and I moved into a new house that had a BIG backyard. We ran and played ball every day for exercise. Then, the new neighbors moved in, with a cat. I was excited for a new friend to play with as I have always loved other animals. But this cat was sneaky and nosy towards MY backyard and me. I would find her prowling through the yard late at night, looking into my dog door, and chasing all of the birds off (which is my favorite thing). I confronted the cat about her actions, and she snipped at me, saying she will take over the yard. Long story short, I chased and barked at the cat as much as I could to annoy her. One day she gave up and realized I was the wrong dog to mess with.

Now that you know a backstory of my life. This blog will be my way of "sending postcards" back home so that my owner can know what is happening and hear about all my wonderful adventures. I am excited because I am mainly wanting to go and see how cats and dogs interact in other cultures if they are rivals, enemies, or friends. I personally never had a problem with cats, until this summer. I know they are scared of me but I’m not sure why. Although, it makes for a fun prank now and then. I am hoping that there is a great mixture of relationships wherever I go.

Anyways, I do not have an exact plan on what countries I will have the opportunity to visit. I also will not write about the places I visit if they do not have any exciting or interesting encounters. I am wanting to give you and my owner all the details of the BEST places. I have been thinking about what places I will enjoy most, and it seems as though China and Italy will be very different and awesome places to visit.

My plane leaves at 5 am tomorrow, EEP. I am spending every last minute with my owner and packing up ALL the essentials since I will be gone for a whole month. My emotions are all over the place. I am feeling scared, excited, sad, and nervous since this is my first trip alone. I know despite all that I am feeling, I will be very happy once I get there.
