Stella Ekpe( born. 1996) is a multi-dimensional visual artist who experiment with layering diverse textures and materials. 

The artist is fascinated with textures, believing it to evoke emotions uses it as a way to awaken the consciousness of it's viewer while successfully translating her different state of consciousness. Her works explores the uses of colours, brush strokes, textures and figures to portray emotions and stories formed from personal experience or from the experiences around her environment. 

Ekpe's works focuses on the interplay between light, colour and texture which authenticates her interest for the simple aspect of everyday human life and loss, the body, and the spirituality around it. Ekpe obtained a bachelor degree in visual arts from the university of Porthacourt in 2018. Her works have been featured in several exhibitions and includes The Artist commune X One Art Gallery exhibitions (2024) , Gemini Art Gallery for October Rain (2023).
