Inclusion at St Barnabas Preschool

At St Barnabas Preschool, every child is welcomed, valued, and supported. We believe all children are unique and deserve to feel safe, happy, and included as they learn and grow.

Our Approach

Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel a strong sense of belonging. Activities and routines are adapted to meet individual needs, helping every child to take part and thrive.

Supporting SEND

We welcome children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and follow the SEND Code of Practice (2015). Our SENCo works closely with families and professionals to provide the right support, which may include communication strategies, sensory support, and individual or small-group help.

Working with Families

We believe the best support comes from working together. We value parents’ knowledge of their child and work closely with families and outside professionals when needed.
