English as an Additional Language

Our dedicated EAL (English as an Additional Language) coordinator works closely with children who are learning English, providing personalised guidance, tailored activities, and encouragement to help them build confidence and thrive in a nurturing environment.

We are proud to have a multilingual team, including staff fluent in Bulgarian, Urdu, and Korean, who can communicate with families in their home languages. This ensures that parents feel fully included in their child’s learning, and children feel supported and understood both at preschool and at home.

We also recognise the vital importance of children having access to their home language. Research shows that supporting home language development not only strengthens communication and literacy skills, but also helps children maintain a strong sense of identity and connection with their family and culture.
