Teaching Gives the Best Rewards

The journey to become a teacher did not start right away. I actually chose to get my marketing degree and try my hand at business first. The problem was while trying to attract new business I was doing more teaching than selling. It took me a long time to realize that fact, and when I did my life changed forever.

As many teachers are leaving the profession, I couldn't even think of not being around my students. They are the best thing that ever happened to me outside of God and my family. As the school year ends for the students, I’m always amazed at how much they have grown, not only as students, but as people.

I hope my students realize how awesome they are and appreciate all the successes waiting for them if they continue to push forward. I'm very lucky to have been a part of their journey and cherish every moment with them. 

Teaching definitely isn't easy, but it's the best profession to give back. In fact, as you’re teaching, you tend to learn just as much as the students. For what else is a teacher but a never ending student? Teaching has given me the best education I could have ever imagined. I'm so very blessed.
