Introductory sessions:
It is a requirement that all new persons attend an introductory session before becoming a member of STARR Archery.
If a person has attended an intro session as part of another program, we will charge a one-time fee to assess the archer (and their equipment if applicable).
The STARR Archery Intro to Archery consists of 3 sessions, once a week over a 3 week period.
Indoor Season: Lessons will be held from October to November.
Outdoor Season: Lessons will be held from June to July
Equipment:
STARR Archery will provide the use of all beginner style recurve equipment for lessons. We can assist you to purchase appropriate equipment if you decide to continue in archery. There is no requirement to buy equipment, you can continue to use STARR Archery equipment for as long as you participate for a small rental fee. During the Indoor season participants using STARR equipment are limited to Thursday sessions. During the Outdoor season, participants using STARR equipment can participate on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturdays.
Indoor Program:
Venue: Camp Luther gym. 9311 Shook Road Mission BC.
New Participants with or without their own equipment may contact STARR to book sessions. Please expect to stay for at least 1.5-2hrs.
Regular programming runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5pm until 8pm. Participants without their own equipment are limited to Thursdays.
Time frame: First week in October until after the BC Indoor Provincial Championships (Including the JOP) have completed or the week following Easter.
Outdoor Program:
Venue: Page Road Outdoor Range. 33537 Page Road Abbotsford BC (just on the Abbotsford side of the Mission Bridge)
New Participants with or without their own equipment may contact STARR to book sessions. Please expect to stay for at least 1.5-2hrs.
Regular programming runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5pm until 8pm and we additionally offer Saturdays from 10am-1pm during Outdoors. Participants without their own equipment are welcome to attend any session.
Time frame: May until mid September.
