I have been conceptualizing the idea of Star Map since my years in middle school, and it started as just mindlessly writing and drawing characters in my bedroom. But after years of keeping this story to myself, I got the overwhelming support from friends, family, and even my peers to put out Star Map to the world!

I remember only having the name of this story in my head, "Star Map". It had a good ring to it, and I knew I could make something out of it. I had old character designs that I didn't know what to do with, but they were very endearing characters to me. I put a piece of myself into each of them, the good, the bad, and the human aspects. I also knew, without a doubt, that I wanted to tell a story about space. Space has always been a FASCINATING aspect about life that has always entranced me, the fact that we live in such a large universe, with giant spheres of dust and gas building up over an accumulation of MILLIONS OF YEARS to create colorful nebulas, galaxies, stars, planets -- it all feels like MAGIC to me!

This story is very special and close to my heart, and these characters mean so much to me as they reflect a lot of the hardships, inter struggles, and life changes that I went through and saw other people personally go through. It has always been my dream as a child to tell stories, and I can say with confidence that Star Map is the greatest story I will ever tell. 

I can't thank the wonderful people in my life enough for continuously supporting this ambitious vision of mine, from my parents, grandparents and my sweet little brother and cousins, to my incredible friends and teachers who helped my pilot be made in the first place!

The amount of love, care, support, and advice from all of you have helped me bring this story's name out there, and it will be my lifetime goal to bring Star Map out there for those who need a little laugh, a little smile, and a little inspiration 🌠
