Before schedules are made, your manager needs to know when you can work. Update your Starbucks Partner Availability as soon as anything changes — new school schedule, second job, family obligations.
How to update:
Login to the Partner Hub or Teamworks
Go to "My Availability"
Set available days and time windows
Submit for manager review
Changes activate once approved
Login via Partner Hub
Navigate to "Time Off" section
Select your dates
Choose request type — personal, sick, vacation
Add a note if needed
Submit and await manager approval
Tips for approval:
Request at least 2 weeks early
Avoid holiday peak seasons unless urgent
Offer a shift swap as an alternative
The Starbucks Shift Swap feature makes trading shifts official and simple.
Open Teamworks
Find the shift to swap
Select "Post for Swap"
A qualified coworker claims it
Manager approves
Schedule updates automatically
Need more hours? Open shifts are posted in Teamworks:

Go to "Open Shifts"
Browse available shifts at your store
Click "Pick Up Shift"
Await manager confirmation
