Cardassian Union

The Cardassian Union remains the official governing body of the Cardassian people, having come into effect in 2389. The United Federation of Planets recognizes only the Detapa Council as the true governing body of the Cardassian people and continues to oppose the efforts of the True Way movement who seek to restore their own governance on Cardassia Prime.

Deferi

Capital: Defera

Government: Deferi

The Deferi are known for their ideal of not pursuing affiliations with major powers but in order to best secure the defense of their people they opted to join us in the Khitomer Alliance. As members, we are bound to assist the Deferi when required and they have given their word that they would do the same for other UFP members.

Delta Alliance

Location: Delta Quadrant

Government: Alliance High Command

While the term ‘Delta Alliance’ was once used to describe the early Khitomer Alliance, it is now used to refer to our extended allies in the Delta Quadrant. Made up of the Benthan, Borg Cooperative, Hazari, Hierarchy, Hirogen, Kazon-Ogla, Kobali, Krenim Coalition, Ocampa, Octanti (sympathizers as opposed to confirmed members), Talaxian, and Turei; the Delta Alliance was founded to respond to the conquest of the Delta Quadrant by the Vaadwaur Supremacy. Starfleet has continued to assist since its founding.

Dominion

The Dominion shares a changeable history in relation to the Federation, having gone from war to eventual alliance. The Dominion has been a part of the Khitomer Alliance since its founding and have recently taken part in the founding of the Allied Fleet Service, giving their officers the opportunity to serve alongside our own. While some people are still hesitant of the Dominion, the war was now 37 years ago and the United Federation of Planets has acknowledged that times - and factions - can change.

Ferengi Alliance

Location: Alpha Quadrant

Government: Ferengi Alliance

While efforts have been made to integrate the Ferengi Alliance into the United Federation of Planets, more hard-line traditional members of their society protested against the union and thus it was abandoned. The Ferengi remain firm allies with ourselves through the Khitomer Accords, however, and more members make efforts to individually join us every day. They are generally not warfaring but have stated they will assist in the procurement of materials for the war effort.

Kentari Union

Location: Alpha Quadrant

Government: Kentari Union

The Kentari have - unfortunately - always been rather xenophobic to the other species that they have encountered. While they have joined the Khitomer Alliance under the basis of mutual defense, numerous traditionalists view the Alliance and its members as “hostile invaders.” Tension still remains between the Kentari and Lukari but thanks to the UFP’s mediation, they remain on at least neutral terms.

Klingon Empire

Government: High Council

The Klingon Empire has undergone vast changes in recent years including the integration of the Gorn Hegemony, Orion Syndicate, and Nausicaan homeworld; temporal occurrences, and the overhaul of their High Council. The current leadership of the Empire is known to be controversial and there has been some protest, although for the most part things upon Qo’noS remain stable. Since the conclusion of the latest Klingon-Federation War we have remained on good terms with the Empire as mutual members of the Khitomer Alliance and both sides strive to repair previous damages caused.

Liberated Elachi

Government: Unknown

The Elachi were once fierce enemies of the Federation, having been involved in assisting both the Iconians and the Romulan Star Empire. In 2411, rifts into the mycelial network were created in order to cause corruption; the Elachi then became aggressive towards all factions. In the time since, the mycelial network was repaired and the Elachi liberated. Many Elachi returned to the network to continue the lives they used to live before being involved in such conflict, but some, under Ambassador Tarsev, have joined the Khitomer Alliance.

The Lukari Concordium

Capital: Lukari Prime
Location: Alpha Quadrant
Head of State: Albin’aar
Government: Planetary Council

The Lukari have become far more exploratory in their years since becoming a member of the Alliance. A peaceful people, they are unwilling to directly wage war upon any enemy of the Federation or Khitomer Alliance until absolutely required, but have promised to send assistance in the form of aid, materials, and technology.

Reman Resistance

Capital: The Vault, Haakona System
Location: Beta Quadrant
Head of State: Captain Obisek
Government: Reman Republic

The original intention of the Reman Republic was to fight for their independence from the Romulan Star Empire who had enslaved their species since ch’Rihan and ch’Havran were first settled. For the duration of the formation of the Romulan Free State they remained active in their defense against the remnants of the Star Empire, and when the Romulan Republic was formed and settled on Mol’Rihan they acknowledged this new government and have been allies with them since. Intelligence reports suggest there are possible splinter cells of the Resistance who have unknown motives, but no hostilities have been displayed towards the Federation.

Romulan Republic

Location: Beta Quadrant

Government: Romulan Republic

Following the destruction of Romulus in the year 2387, mass changes to the structure of Romulan society were undertaken. The Romulan Republic arose out of dissident movement, and following the upheaval of the Star Empire/Free State, the Romulan Republic was later legitimized by the United Federation of Planets and other members of the Khitomer Alliance. The faction also settled on New Romulus in 2409. With the United Federation of Planets having largely withdrawn from the aid efforts at Romulus following the attack on Mars, our goal has always been to prove ourselves as allies of the new Romulan way of life.
