Diplomatic Dossier

Introduction

Throughout 2410 and into 2411 the United Federation of Planets and its allies saw a period of numerous conflicts. In late 2411 to early 2412 these conflicts came to an end and we found ourselves in a period of relative stability; aside from localized incidents here and there, the Federation was no longer in any form of large-scale war.

Despite this it still remains prudent for all Federation dignitaries and Starfleet Diplomatic Corps officers to be aware of the contents of this document. Command officers must be aware of those we have alliances with and those we can trust. In these times of peace we must still be prepared to assist those in need and rely on our allies when required.

As we continue our exploration we still, as always, seek to find more allies among the stars. Our extended aim will still be to integrate these new worlds into the United Federation of Planets while striving to let them uphold their political and cultural independence, but we must respect the wishes of these worlds and understand that sometimes, them being extended allies can be the support that one another needs.

In 2410 the Khitomer Alliance was officially established as a coalition between the major factions of the four quadrants. The Alliance now comprises a number of member states and is headed by Chairman Ksenneta of Khitomer who upholds a strong relationship with our own President, Aennik Okeg. The Alliance is sworn to provide mutual defense and humanitarianism to one another and our most recent endeavors include the formation of the Allied Fleet Service in late 2410. 

This document details information on our allies, those who are neutral with us, those who are hostile towards us, and those we are engaged in open war with. This document has been read, agreed upon, and signed by all member states of the United Federation of Planets.
