Whether you're a newcomer to a galaxy far, far away or a master of the Jedi Archives, all are welcome!
This will be a three house crisis conference, with each in a separate room, and as such characters will come from one of the following houses:
The Empire, a collection of bureaucrats and generals, venomous and righteous alike, who constitute the Imperial government of the galaxy
The Rebellion, an amalgamation of wildly different factions loosely collated together in a common effort to fight the Galactic Empire
The Crime Syndicates, an array of the galactic mafiosos that, from behind the scenes, direct much of the flow of galactic commerce, as well as the Bounty Hunter assassins that do their bidding.
Each character has individual directive abilities they can use - but every character is encouraged to go far beyond these, using normal directives for anything and everything they desire. These are just extra fun abilities for each character. Go crazy, be inventive. Create insane strategies - it’s literally Star Wars. Don’t find yourself beholden to what happens in the movies and shows - this is your conference.
Each character has a short bio to get them started, but this is just the beginning. Wookiepedia is by far the best resource for finding out everything you would ever want to know about any and all Star Wars characters. Our conference is playing fast and loose with canon, mixing legends and canon freely, but it's set roughly around 2 BBY, just after the official declaration of the Rebel Alliance.
Position papers are in no way required, but you should compose an opening speech and research the general scenario. Additionally, if you do wish to submit a position paper, we will give an award to the most fabulous one :)
