Ian is the Dick Cheney of Point Loma's Model United Nations club, and is excited to be back for a second year of Star Wars MUN! When he's not reading the leaked plots of canceled Clone Wars episodes while instructing his friends to 'go read theory', he can normally be found running cross country, baking food, and procrastinating writing his journalism articles. Unlike Dick Cheney's resolution to invade the Middle East, Ian's most recent Conference resolution received 0 votes when he attempted to completely legalize drugs as the country of Bhutan.
Cole Fisher is the George W. Bush of Point Loma's Model United Nations club. Like George W. Bush, Cole frequently lies to the American people in his award-winning Model UN speeches. Also like Bush, he has a very limited understanding of political theory, but that doesn't stop him from calling everything he hates a "reactionary paper tiger." He can be found playing Cello with the San Diego Youth Symphony and leading our Varsity Academic League team. Mission accomplished.
Julia is the Human Resources representative of Point Loma High School's MUN Club. She also is Chief Editor of the school newspaper, competes for the school's Academic League team, and is a Varsity swimmer. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, cooking, and making pretentious remarks about films she hasn't seen. Please talk to her if you share the (correct) opinion that Rebels is better than Clone Wars.
Bode Lamb is the Huey Long of Point Loma High School's MUN Club. He is also the Front Ensemble Captain in the Marching Band, plays bass in the Orchestra and Jazz Band, and is in the Academic League. He is in the local band "Mixed Bag" as a bassist and is a big fishing head. Unfortunately, he voted against the resolution to "delete France". Talk to him about LOTR!!!
Will Baker is the Goblin Lord (on the Goblin Throne) of Point Loma High School's Model United Nations Club. While his deepest desire is to roam the waves as a pirate, he has settled for roaming San Diego as a member of the Point Loma Cross Country and track teams. Outside of school, he can be found wailing in agony when someone misses a Tolkien question at Academic League or playing copious amounts of D&D. Do NOT mention the Young Turks around him.
With her cunning wit, alluring looks, and scintillating disposition, Erika Nelson is in charge of the highly limited financial resources of Point Loma High School's MUN Club. When she isn't making gains or teaching younglings the forbidden art of figure skating, you can find her harvesting mushrooms in dubious places.
Though he is new to MUN, Preston is no stranger to sketchy political opinions. A burgeoning filmmaker known for the hit short film With Harness on Our Backs, Preston is also a connoisseur of Latin American environmental policy and a pan-Arab nationalist. In his free time, he enjoys perusing the geologic time scale, rizzing up the Duolingo owl, and speeding over the Coronado Bridge on his way to sailing practice.
Noah is an amateur apiologist and honorary member of MUN who attends meetings, but reads in the corner the entire time. He enjoys running XC and track, being a viola virtuoso, and reading fantasy. Easily recognizable with his signature twenty bracelets and proclivity for shorts and t-shirts. He's still trying to finish Clone Wars.
While AJ is the fourth member of our secretariat to be both a cross country runner and an Academic League player, he is the only member able to name five baseball players off the top of his head. He would like you and everyone in your general vicinity to know that he is a proud paying subscriber to the Criterion Channel. He also is Mormon.
