The most wide-reaching faction of Rebels, the Neorepublicans rally behind the common cause of return to pre-Imperial Galactic Republic. Most espouse traditionally liberal politics that, while standing in opposition to the Empire, fall short of embodying truly radical policies.
Admiral Gial Ackbar
An inspired tactician and the most powerful military commander of the Rebel Alliance, Gial Ackbar successfully defended his planet, Mon Cala, from Separatist forces in the Clone Wars before less successfully defending it from Imperial invasion. Following the subjugation of his people by the Human-supremacist Empire, Ackbar was the personal slave of Grand Moff Tarkin, under whom he gained knowledge of Imperial theories of war. Upon being liberated, Ackbar pledged his support and that of his people to the Rebellion. He believes that a united rebel front is necessary to destroy the evils of the empire.
Individual Directive Ability: Ackbar can broadly command the Mon Calamari people and determine their support for the greater Rebel Alliance with his individual directives. He supplies Mon Calamari MC80 Star Cruisers to the Alliance Fleet as well as a squadron of B-wing fighters, which his people designed. His knowledge of Tarkin's space warfare tactics allows him to anticipate the Grand Moff's offensive initiatives.

General Jan Dodonna
A wise strategist and firm believer in the rebel cause, Jan Dodonna served in the Republic Navy throughout the Clone Wars before defecting from the Imperial Navy. Dodonna commands one of the largest and best equipped rebel cells, the Massassi group, based on Yavin 4.
Individual Directive Ability: Dodonna can use his individual directives to command of the vast resources of Massassi group, which includes five Republic-era Y-Wing light bombers he may direct to raid Imperial fleets, which gives him significant military power. His close ties with Bail Organa also give him powerful influence over the military actions of the burgeoning Rebel Alliance.

General Davits Draven
A vengeful but intelligent rebel, Davits Draven serves in Rebel Alliance's Intelligence, and is known to perform darker tasks with little remorse. Draven notoriously leads assassination attempts, and believes that his actions are justified responses to the Galactic Empire's actions.
Individual Directive Ability: Draven is the leading Rebel Intelligence operative, controlling key communication lines to most rebel cells. He can use individual directives to gather information on external rebel factions in order to recruit them to the larger Rebel Alliance, as well as gather general intelligence of use to the rebels. As a General, he also has influence over many rebel fighters.

Mon Mothma
A former Republic senator, Mon Mothma was one of the founding members of the Rebel Alliance. Following the formation of the Empire, Mothma continued her senatorial role in the new Imperial Senate, and worked with Bail Organa and Luthen Rael to organize parts of the growing rebel movement. She was outspoken in her beliefs to restore democracy and publicly denounced the Empire, continuing to lead the Alliance.
Individual Directive Ability: Mothma has connections with Chandrillan wealth, which she may utilize through individual directives to gain funding. She also broadly controls the actions of the Rebel Alliance and their pan-galactic expansion, but relies on their unity in order to have power.

Senator Bail Organa
Known as "The Father of the Rebellion," Bail Organa was one of the founding members of the Rebel Alliance. Until recently, Organa was a full-time member of the Imperial Senate, who used his reputation for charity and morality to denounce the Empire and provide aid to worlds they had exploited. However, as Organa grew more publicly disillusioned with the Empire, he resigned his Senate seat to his adoptive daughter, Leia. Though now only a part-time delegate in the Senate, Organa still commands significant sway outside of the Rebellion, and is a key member of Alliance High Command.
Individual Directive Ability: Organa has general access to the resources of Alderaan, through which he can use his individual directives to arrange relief missions to blighted worlds and support the Alliance. Through careful manipulation of records, Organa can also divert shipments of starships and supplies to the Rebellion. Finally, Organa has general control over much of the military action and policy of the Rebel Alliance.

Senator Leia Organa
The youngest Senator ever elected to the Imperial Senate, Leia has followed in her adopted father's footsteps both in and outside of the Rebellion. A skilled diplomat and politician, Leia publicly argues in the Imperial Senate for increases in humanitarian aid and labor rights, while secretly serving as a Rebel agent and working closely with her father. Leia is beloved by the public and well-known for her charitable efforts.
Individual Directive Ability: Leia possesses the use of the Tantive IV, a CR90 Corvette in the service of the House of Organa. Her position in the Imperial Senate also allows her a platform on many issues, and her status as a scion of Alderaan Royalty gives her access to a significant fortune for use funding her individual directives.

Captain Rex
A skilled and respected military leader, former clone commander Rex joined the Alliance following the fall of the Republic. Rex's firm loyalty allows him to not break under pressure. He is a strict commander, believing in discipline and unity in order to effectively have command.
Individual Directive Ability: Rex has a vast knowledge of the Outer Rim and of former Republic bases, and is able to use that knowledge to find a safe and hidden base through individual directives. He uses his combat skill to command respect from his peers, and his knowledge of Republic military tactics allow him to more easily infiltrate Imperial bases and ships.

Most of the radical revolutionaries were more hesistant to ally with the moderate Rebel Alliance, fearing it would temper the actions of their Liberation Groups. Most stand in support of the violent ousting of fascism, no matter the cost, and still find problem with the corrupt Galactic Republic that more moderate rebels wish to return to.
Captain Cassian Andor
A skilled Rebel spy and assassin, Andor is a trusted agent of General Draven, who often uses Andor for more unsavory work. He justifies his actions by relying on the fact that he's following orders and fighting for the greater good. A key member of early Rebel successes, such as the Aldhani heist, Andor is well-known to much of Alliance Intelligence, and is willing to die in the name of taking down the Empire.
Individual Directive Ability: Andor serves as one of General Draven's officers, undertaking missions for Alliance Intelligence. He is also skilled at creating false identities and infiltrating Imperial ranks. Andor has access to an Alliance U-Wing.

Garm Bel Iblis
A founder of the Rebel Alliance, Garm Bel Iblis is a charismatic, prideful, and independent leader who strongly believes in the power of a united rebel front. The former senator of Corellia began his fight against the Empire after the deaths of his family at the hands of Imperial agents, and his resulting militaristic fervor often puts him at odds with other Rebellion leaders, with Bail Organa as the sole mediator. He greatly opposes Mon Monthma's increasing power in particular, fearing that she will replace Palpatine as dictator. He sees advantages to splitting away from the Rebel Alliance, which would weaken Mothma and allow him to fight the Empire on his own terms.
Individual Directive Ability: Bel Iblis is skilled in hit-and-run military tactics, has access to Corellian ship-building material resources, and commands loyal troops who support him over other Rebel Alliance leaders. He has the connections and personal initiative to build a strong private fleet outside of the resources of the Rebel Alliance, which he can use for brutal militarist strikes through his individual directives.

Commander Travia Chan
The founder of the Fest Rebel cell, Travia Chan is a keen theoretical strategist. Chan is known for her calm demeanor and sound judgement, earning her the nickname "Icewoman". She led her cell to merge with the Mantooine Liberators, creating the highly centralized Atrivis Resistance Group, and to ally with Mon Mothma's Rebel Alliance.
Individual Directive Ability: Chan is a skilled military leader, who commands ground assaults and small squad tactics. She is the commander-in-chief of the Atrivis sector, and determines the Rebellion's influence over the major nothern hyperspace lanes through the sector: the Braxant and Relgim Runs, through which food products, luxury goods, and crime syndicate spice are transported.

Saw Gerrera
As experienced as he is dangerous, Saw Gerrera has been fighting without cease since the Clone Wars. As the leader of the extremist group known as the Partisans, Gerrera's brutal terrorist tactics have drawn criticism from many in the main body of the Rebellion. Gerrera's unpredictable nature and tendency towards violence mean that the Partisans' cooperation with Rebel High Command is far from guranteed, and there have already been numerous reports of civilian casualties during Partisan operations. Gerrera believes, however, that sometimes a little collatoral damage is necessary to fight a greater evil.
Individual Directive Ability: Gerrera leads the Partisans, a group of extremist freedom fighters who operate with a certain degree of independence from the Rebel Alliance, and who he can control the actions of with his individual directives. The Partisans possess several small outposts and headquarters throughout the galaxy, and have a small wing of fighters for air support.

Luthen Rael
Referred to in ISB files only as "Axis", Luthen Rael is willing to sacrifice everything for a sunrise he'll never see. To the general public (and to the Empire), Rael is merely a respectable Coruscanti antiques dealer. In reality, Rael has been an instrumental figure in the birth of the Rebellion, using his network of contacts and spies to execute daring strikes against the Empire. Rael is a close confidant of Mon Mothma, though the two often disagree over the best way to proceed in the fight against the Empire. Rael is a master tactician that is always thinking about the bigger picture - and much like a holoches grandmaster, Rael is happy to sacrifice a few pieces to win the game.
Individual Directive Ability: Thanks to Luthen's large network of spies, he can glean inside information about the planned actions of the ISB and the Empire. He is also a close friend and ally of Mon Mothma and Vel Sartha, though often works more closely with the latter. Additionally, Luthen owns a well-known antiques store, which currently keeps him hidden from the eyes of the Empire. The final tool in his arsenal is his heavily modified Fondor Haulcraft, which allows him to travel the galaxy incognito and avoid the more inquisitive Imperial patrols.

Though not apolitical themselves, most field agents often concern themselves more with the tactile methods of warfare than they do with specific political ideologies. Field agents have much greater ability to carry out strikes with their individual directive abilities, and more ideological members must confer with and act through them in order to do so.
Hondo Ohnaka
A pirate first and a rebel second, Hondo Ohnaka's true loyalties lie with one thing: profit. Currently, there's profit to be made in helping the Rebellion, but Ohnaka has never been above double-crossing his allies. Yet Ohnaka has been growing genuinely fond of the rebels in spite of himself, and he has proven to be a valuable asset in the fight against the Empire.
Individual Directive Ability: Hondo has built up a vast network of pirate accomplices and allies in his time, which he can call upon for secretive pieces of information and military backup through his individual directives.

Vel Sartha
A steadfast, no-nonsense leader within the rebel network organized by Luthen Rael, Vel Sartha is known for her loyalty and for orchestrating the successful robbery of the Aldhani Garrison. The cousin of Mon Mothma, Sartha is herself a wealthy Chandrilan heiress who gave up a life of luxury for the rebel cause.
Individual Directive Ability: Due to her connections to Chandrilan wealth, Sartha may effectively gain funding for the rebel cause. She also has direct influence over the execution of Luthen Rael's plans, may collaborate directly with Rael and Mon Mothma, and is skilled conducting at imperial raids and strike missions.

Commander Jun Sato
A fearless Rebel Alliance strategist, Jun Sato is the commander of the rebel group, Phoenix Cell. Sato understands the necessity of supplies and new recruits to the Rebel Alliance, and strongly advocates for establishing a planetary base. He operates under strict military protocol, and strives to command his cell with conventional discipline.
Individual Directive Ability: Sato commands a group of A-Wings and the modified freighter the Ghost, and is Phoenix Cell's line of contact with the wider rebel movement. He also commands the CR90 corvette Liberator and the Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier Phoenix Nest.

Captain Hera Syndulla
A highly observant and intelligent leader, Captain Hera Syndulla has a strong loyalty to the Rebel Alliance, and believes in the necessity of a unified rebel front. After years leading an isolated team of rebels with connections to Lothal, a planet she hopes to one day free from Imperial tyranny, Syndulla now operates within Phoenix Cell and uses her position to recruit allies and look for a base. She is an exceptional pilot and often leads starfighter strikes.
Individual Directive Ability: Syndulla is the pilot of modified VCX-100 light freighter the Ghost, commander of its crew, including Sabine Wren, Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus, and Padawan Ezra Bridger. With her position of Phoenix Leader, Syndulla also has command over its fleet of A-Wings and its CR90 corvette during military operations.

Sabine Wren
A resourceful and creative Clan Wren Mandalorian, Sabine Wren is a member of the Ghost crew with extensive knowledge in weaponry, hand-to-hand combat, and explosives. Wren is a former Imperial Academy student, who left when she disagreed with the Empire's ideals. She is one of the most highly skilled members of the Phoenix Cell, and is loyal to Hera Syndulla.
Individual Directive Ability: Sabine is the daughter of Lady Ursa Wren, giving her access to the highly skilled warriors of her clan. She also has knowledge of Imperial complexes and their military strategies from her time at the Academy, making her a successful undercover agent. Along with being a skilled hacker with the ability to disable Imperial technology, Wren's artistic talent gives her the ability to decipher messages and codes through pieces of artwork. Sabine may work directly with Hera Syndulla and rely on the support of her fellow Ghost crewmates.
