Stanley Wynter lived a vivacious life; one filled with adventure, love, and family. From a boy in the city of Berbice, Guyana, to traveling the seven seas, his sense of adventure and wonder led him to live a life that many of us could only dream of. We know him by Stanley, Daddy, Captain, and papa. He often said that "a smooth sea never made a skillful sailor". While we wish to enjoy the smooth seas of life, we appreciate the difficulties and pressures to transform us. Stanley's life was far from smooth sailing but one thing was certain: he fought his best until the end, thought of the water often, and in the end, gave up his sea legs to spend his last days as a doting grandfather.
