The land of Rhombifolia is in trouble. Trees are turning yellow, saplings are failing to thrive, and the creatures who depend on the forest are struggling. Yet no one knows why. Join Alder as he embarks on a journey of discovery to save his beloved forest.
Here at Cal Poly, we are kickstarting our annual mission of Staging Change, where we devise and produce a touring children’s show educating students on critical environmental issues and our impacts. This project is grounded in New Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and Disciplinary Core Idea 5-ESS3, Human Impacts on Earth Systems. Our team has been working diligently to bring this show to life throughout the Winter and Spring quarters in the TH-380 Theatre For Young Audiences course. We are a passionate, multifaceted group of students dedicated to making a difference through our innovative approach to children’s theatre and education.
