Educational Workshops
During Spring 2024, Cal Poly students and faculty will offer educational workshops within elementary schools throughout the county. Workshops follow Next Generation Science Standards as well as California Common Core Standards.
Educational Objectives
In 2019, educational leaders from the UC and CSU systems partnered to publish an ambitious report titled: Achieving Climate Stability and Environmental Sustainability. The coalition’s goal was to “expand the opportunities of every child in California to learn about climate change and to have the tools to affect positive social change.”
In 2023, Staging Change received funding to provide "positive social change" to students in San Luis Obispo county.
