Souvenir and Local Goods Shops
There main Mathematical Science and Computer Sciences reception on level one of the building (the floor between the two floors that conference activities take place one) sells a small selection of University Merchandise. A larger selection of gifts can be found at the Botanic Gardens, next to the University, and at other museum shops.
The largest selection of University branded merchandise can be found at the University Waterstones bookshop, not to be confused by the nearby non-University Waterstones shop.
Northern Stores & Deli sells a wide selection of local goods, including chocolate and confectionary. Nearby Elvet and Bailey sells local arts and crafts.
If you are looking for books we have three independent local bookshops: Collected is a local independent shop focusing on books by women, including a large selection of books in translation; BookWyrm focuses on LGBTQIA+ literature; and The People's Bookshop is a general second hand bookshop, with a large focus on local community material.
Please note, all of these shops close between 4:30pm and 6pm. Check the websites for specific details.
